A Family Guide to 2024-2025 Pioneer Springs Fundraisers

Did you know that charter schools receive significantly less funding than traditional public schools?  Bridging this funding deficit is essential for providing high quality academics, and a unique educational experience.

Pioneer Springs has a commitment to hosting fundraisers that are connected to our mission, and that build community.  
We also have a commitment to limiting the number of times that we ask you to make a financial contribution each school year.  This year, we will be asking for the following contributions:

Annual Campaign (October 1 - October 31)  & Get Muddy Derby (entire campus community is invited on October 18) $86,000	This is our biggest fundraising campaign of the year.  Families can raise money by: Making a direct contribution Employer matching gifts Encouraging significant adults in your child’s life to give Raising funds from local businesses Families will also participate in our Get Outside and Get Muddy Challenge On October 18 families are invited to join us on campus for the Get Muddy Derby–be sure to create a school spirit hat to wear (think Kentucky Derby meets Salamander spirit)	Click here for the sliding scale suggested contribution ​
Under the Snow Moon Art Auction & Cocktail Party December 13 (tentative) $8,000 goal	This fundraiser is a celebration of the arts at Pioneer Springs.  Each class makes a class art project which is auctioned off at our evening adults-only Gala Style party	Join us for the fun! $50 contribution/ family
Old Fashioned Family Field Day March 22 (tentative) $6,000	Celebrate the arrival of spring with other Pioneer Springs families and join in some friendly competition! Pay to compete in classic field day events, including potato sack races, egg races, and cornhole.  Winners will receive a small cash prize. This fundraiser will also include a gift basket auction.	$40 contribution/ family

If 100% of our families make a financially sustainable contribution, we will reach our overall goal.

In addition to our school fundraisers, WINGS, our homegrown PTO, collects funds in December and May for Winter and Springs staff appreciation gifts.  Proceeds collected by WINGS will be divided equally among staff to ensure that everyone is recognized for their role in educating our children.
