HIgh School Fall Call to Adventure/Spring into the Woods
We are excited to share information about our High School Fall Call to Adventure and Spring Into the Woods expeditions. These expeditions are designed to introduce students to wilderness skills, build their environmental literacy, and cultivate a love of nature. Students who have attended these trips in the past have shared that they are life-changing adventures that lead to self-discovery and closer relationships with classmates.
We have made some changes to the trips we are offering our high school students for the 2024-25 school year, so please read the following information carefully.
Great news–Pioneer Springs has been awarded a NC Trailblazers Club grant. The award is enabling us to purchase backpacking equipment to be utilized by PSCS students on our various Spring adventures, reducing a substantial amount of cost faced by our students to participate in the trips by eliminating the need to locate or purchase backpacking equipment.
We have limited spots available for each of the Spring trips. Students that wish to participate must make a $50 deposit and register utilizing the Spring Into The Woods Registration Form found HERE by October 1. Each trip is unique and offers students the opportunity to push boundaries, grow as a community, and overcome challenges.
