K-8 Fall Call to Adventure/Spring into the Woods
We are excited to share information about our K-8 Fall Call to Adventure and Spring Into the Woods camps. These adventures are immersive field trips directly related to grade-level learning expeditions, and are designed to develop students’ environmental literacy, wilderness awareness skills, and curiosity about the natural world. Please see the table below for the locations, dates, and total cost of the two experiences.
Adventure Fees are calculated based on the cost of your student’s grade level-adventures. In order to participate in the Fall Call to Adventure trip, minimum payment of $50 must be received no later than October 1, 2024. The final payment will be due no later than February 3, 2025 for students attending the Spring Into the Woods expedition. If there is financial need, please contact Mr. Chris to request an “Adventureship” application form. There are a limited number of Adventureships available. Due to financial commitments made to the host facilities, Adventure Fees are nonrefundable.
Our 2024-25 Spring Into the Woods camps are adventure-filled, high-intensity camping trips, including environmental education classes. We will need parent chaperones to volunteer for the Spring trips. If you are interested in serving as a chaperone, please watch for upcoming volunteer training dates.
