our Fundraising celebrations
Did you know that charter schools receive significantly less funding than traditional public schools? Bridging this funding deficit is essential for providing high quality academics, and a unique educational experience. Pioneer Springs has a commitment to hosting fundraisers that are connected to our mission, and that build community.
Annual Campaign, $86,000 goal
The Annual Campaign is the biggest fundraising event of the school year. The funds we raise from this campaign will support campus improvements, including the construction of our athletic field, field trip scholarships, and college scholarships for our high school graduating seniors. Families are invited to support this campaign through direct donations, employer matching donations, and connecting with local businesses. Our campus goal is that 100% of families will participate in the Annual Campaign to the extent that their budget allows.
In addition to raising funds, Pioneer Springs commits to our nature mission by issuing the Get Outside Challenge. We encourage our classes and our families to spend as much time outdoors as possible, with a goal of spending a collective 10,000 hours outside during the campaign.
In celebration of the annual campaign, all students participate in the Get Muddy Derby–a fun-run and obstacle course challenge that invites participants to get dirty! Families come to campus to cheer their students on! Participants and spectators alike are invited to create fancy hats (think the Kentucky Derby) to show their school pride!

Under the Snow Moon, $8,000 goal
The arts play a vital role in Pioneer Springs’ culture. The arts encourage creative expression, and bring people together as a community. Under the Snow Moon is an art auction and adult-only cocktail party in celebration of the arts at Pioneer Springs. Each classroom creates a class art project, which is sold at the auction. Funds raised support our fine arts program.
