COVENANT
In respect to the significance of “Community” within the Basic School philosophy, the Pioneer Covenant outlines the responsibility for each stakeholder in our community (including the Students, Parent/Guardians, Teachers, Administrative Team, Staff, and Board of Trustees) to wholly support the mission of our school and to facilitate ideal communication and commitment.
This covenant is an agreement between all community stakeholders and is based on a shared vision and the mission of Pioneer Springs Community School. The intention is to highlight each party’s responsibilities in the wonderful task of educating our children. This covenant is to be based upon mutual trust that Pioneer Springs Community School will be a community of learning and committed to excellence. The covenant is signed by families at their first meeting with their lead teacher.
An important component of our covenant is the school-family partnership. At the beginning of the school year, we hold Covenant Conferences, which give us an opportunity to begin to build our partnership, or if you've been at PSCS, to check-in about how our partnership is working.
