Liz moved to Charlotte from Wilmington, North Carolina over the summer of 2019 where she spent the last seven years teaching at a school with heavy emphasis on project based learning, outdoor education, and teaching the whole child. She was drawn to Pioneer Springs because of the school's dedication to those same concepts and principles. She went to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro for her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Guilford College for her Teaching License and certification in Education Studies. Liz has a passion for building confidence in and motivating people to be the best version of themselves. She thinks that people flourish when they feel seen, heard, and respected. Liz loves the outdoors and fitness and enjoys camping, watersports, music, and staying active in her free time.
